"I recently inherited the old tractor and am currently getting ready to restore it somewhat. I have used the tractor a little and she seems to work just fine. I had it transported and weaker driver broke the mount off the bell housing where the torsion bars for the front axle mount. I'm going to get a crash course in welding cast iron. Everything considered it will take a year or so to finish this project, but it would have made Dad happy! I'll keep you posted."

"I found mine on Craigslist with most of a cultivator and a complete brush hog. Previous owner said it started running bad and then stopped in the field. I looked it over close and all appeared good. When I opened the gas tank the smell of bad gas was overpowering. I paid the man $600 and loaded it all on the trailer. I drained the fuel and put fresh gas in the tank. Pulled the carb and deep cleaned it. Runs like a top. It has front and rear hydraulics. New tires all the way around. I sold the brush hog for $300 and spent around $150 on new battery and changing all fluids and filters."

"Found this tractor on Craigslist. It looked nice with it's new paint job. Owner said it only needed a carberator. Oh, I paid what seemed to be a fair price. Got it home and found carberator was junk and engine oil was milky with water and radiator was empty. The owner said he had driven it on his street, but I found only sporadic ignition spark. It's called buyer beware! I am repairing and replacing parts in the weeks since I brought it home. It looks like a real project on my hands."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: I think this AC model has potential. Cons: Buyer beware. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA FL I also considered buying: Ford 9N, Farmall Cub
