"This tractor starts when cold, runs very well considering the age. Sheet metal pretty good. Has a Great Bend loader on it and it is pretty hard to find information on them. I like the tractor, good power and size for me. Light field work and cleaning up the property is its main job."
"Pretty new to tractors so can only contribute a little. Purchased tractor from original owner and was used on farm for light field work and cleaning around barns. The bucket is really beat up with bars, chunks, and pieces welded all over it. The rest of the tractor in very good shape for age and being used well. Starts and runs excellent, even when cold. Has 3 cylinder diesel and seams to have plenty of power for what I need."
"We replaced an 8N Ford with this tractor over thirty years ago and thought we had gone to tractor heaven. At that time my wife was raising 26 acres of fruits and vegetables which she did for years. Finally she got as tired as the tractor and cut way back on the farming. Now we just use it for mowing and sub soiling. She used to plow with a 2 bottom plow, disc with a 6' disc, run a 72" tiller use a box blade for moving dirt and grading the driveway. Use a 6' blade for moving snow, use a blower sprayer and a 21' boom sprayer, a boom pole and a 6' bush hog. "
"I haven't had this machine for long, but so far so good. It has the reputation for being a rough-around-the-edges but reliable tractor, and that seems to play out so far. Very good on gas, and definitely not lacking power. The only time I had it bog down was trying to pull 8 tines a little too deeply. Otherwise, it never seems to complain about the work you throw at it. Yes, I have a few slow leaks around some seals, and I may have to re-seat one of them, but otherwise it seems pretty solid. If I had one complaint, it would be the clutch and PTO interaction. The pressing the clutch causes the PTO to stop, which becomes a bit of a pain when flail mowing. Also, because the loader hydraulics are after the PTO, the PTO needs to be engaged to work the loader. Again, a pain when you have a PTO attachment on."
"Bought this tractor, hoping it's a little more user friendly than the JD A I had. So for seems to be great on fuel, love the loader and the 3 point hitch. If anyone else has any pros or cons on this model would love to here them. Not finding much out there. "
