"I am sorry. I owned a John Deere 1050 and needed an upgrade in HP to do the work I intended. The JD build and parts availability is great but, wow, I definitely paid for 'em! I shopped for a long time for a replacement and came across this Belarus. It had 4x4, a loader, 100hp and a heated cab with radio for $12,000. I was worried about buying a soviet machine but did some heavy investigation before buying. First things first... everyone will tell you, "good luck finding parts!" This is a crock of... In this day in age you can find any parts online, even for soviet tractors (Chinese tractors are a different monster!). It also helps that they still sell these tractors in Canada and I can have any part in a matter of days. Add on to this the fact that Belarus build crude pure power, no frills tractors that are designed to be fixed in the field, not a repair shop. Good luck finding a repair shop in mother Russia. I love my tractor and for the same $12,000 I could buy a JD lawnmower, but thats about it. Dollar for dollar I am thrilled with my tractor. It may be crude and ugly, it may not have AC and it may be Russian, but what it does have is power, simplicity, reliability and an extremely low pricetag! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=402Qmaw25wo"
