3510 Branson
Branson 3510
Model Year: 2004

It's been over five years since the Branson 3510 was delivered to my place (by Dave's Tractors, Red Bluff CA). Since that day, the Branson has been a constant companion and has never failed to deliver. I maintain a mile of private road, plow snow, and bring in 6 cords of firewood yearly, our only heat source, but there is almost no project that does not end up involving the tractor somehow. Our temperatures ranges from 110 degrees down to two degrees Fahrenheit, and the Branson has never failed to start. This machine has a shuttle-shift, so it loses less power to the transmission than a hydrostatic would. For dragging road maintenance implements I recommend it. The only time that power seems like a limitation is when using the backhoe. though it does a fine job digging trenches, it isn't quite up to really big holes -- like septic systems or cisterns. It's also a hassle if you have to move the tractor often while digging, since you have to dismount from the hoe, get in the driver's seat, move the tractor, then get back on the hoe. If backhoe is your main use for a tractor I recommend getting something where you stay in the driver's seat and just swivel. But for everything else I love this machine.

Pros: Shuttle shift makes efficient use of all 35 horsepower and is great for pulling.
Cons: Driver's area seems small. Someone over six feet might feel cramped.

Branson 3510 Hydrostatic
Model Year: 2008

This has been a great little tractor for our limited use. I use it to move snow in the winter - industrial tires and chain - and for everything else in the summer. I love pushing over spruce trees with it.... I did put a stick (2" diameter) through the hydraulic filter. That made a mess and was a pain to fix. I wound up cutting the filter off with a dremel tool. Only other issues I've had is the horn (button broke in the cold)and hitting the PTO switch with my knee getting on and off the tractor. Wound up buying a package. FEL, Backhoe, chipper, tiller, brush hog, splitter, set of forks. The bobcat style QD for the FEL is great - bucket on or off in 2 minutes or so. The Backhoe takes me about 10 minutes to put on, less to take off.

Pros: Cost, weight, ease of operation, construction (not a lot of plastic), starts at -30f,
Cons: Some of the hydraulic hose routing, locker is in a difficult place to operate, PTO switch can be hit with your knee

My 3510 Branson

My tractor is awesome. I am originally from the flat lands and was only familiar with 2wd Ford/ New Holland tractors from when I was a kid. We mostly used our tractors for farming. Moved to the hills and needed a tractor for homesteading. The Branson is perfect for this task. It is heavy (a brute) and it is 4 wheel drive and I have used it mostly for clearing, maintaining my driveway (3/4 of a mile) and bush hogging/ general maintenance. I have had to do general maintenance on the tractor but my biggest problem with it has been the pucker factor associated with using it on the inclines of my property (which has nothing to do with the tractor itself.

Pros: Weight/4 wheel drive/front end loader/ a real workhorse
Cons: Though it was reasonable for a tractor it still was not cheap, and it has to be maintained properly (as do all of them)

Bought tractor with 80 hrs on it from a seller who was going to consign it at the dealer I was talking to about a new Branson 3510. The seller and I couldn't be more pleased.

Pros: Great heavy well built tractor with plenty of power and geat price.
Cons: Wish I could have bought it sooner.

I looked around for a small tractor to take care of our five acres. So far this tractor has done exactly what I've needed it to do. From grading to digging up small tree stumps. I enjoy every minute every time I get on it.

Pros: Price for the features
Cons: Have not found anything yet

I am very pleased with my Branson 3510I. It has performed as expected and is a great little workhorse. I have a front end loader, a root rake, a grader, and a bush hog. My little tractor does everything I ask of it.

Pros: Easy start and lots of options for use.
Cons: None.

Branson 3510 - A real workhorse
Model Year: 2004

Living on 100 acres there is always a need for a tractor and the Branson 3510 has proven to be one of the best investments I ever made. Equipped with front end loader, landscape rake and brush cutter there has not been any task the 3510 has not performed. The primary use is clearing paths within the planted pine forest and handles this task with ease. The front end loader was bonus during one of the hurricanes a few years back. Several large oak trees (40') were partially uprooted and the Branson loader was able to complete the process of unrooting and "pushing" these trunks out of the backyard to a disposal area. In this instance, Branson 3510 saved me a lot of money on having the uprooted trees removed. It is very dependable and always starts right away.

Pros: Very rugged and dependable; a real work horse.
Cons: Not the easiest to work on, but patience gets the job done.

I Like My 3510
Model Year: 2003

Didn't want hydro or anything else fancy, but this tractor has done everything I've asked it to. Has never failed to start even in coldest weather. A couple of the grease zerts are hard to get to, and a couple of $5-$20 items have needed replacing (clutch pedal return spring and the fuel filter bowl). It just keeps plugging along, though. Great value!

Pros: Great value, dependability, features, power.
Cons: The original seat didn't go back far enough, but the dealer switched it out NC!
