"I purchased this unit used with a blown 18.5 hp B&S engine (the last guy tried running it without oil). I decided to get a replacement engine through my employer (Briggs & Stratton), but I chose to go with a 25 hp twin.
A couple of years ago I ran across a 2-stage snowthrower attachment which I added to my collection. The tractor is immune to bogging down and even the wettest, thickest grass is no match for the over-sized engine and high lift mulch blades.
The snow thrower works reasonably well, but I wish the tunnel was bigger so I could get more throughout (move more snow faster). If I go too fast, the snow thrower has a tendency to plug up.
The tractor itself isn't the most heavy duty feeling but it gets the job done. I do wish the steering was designed to be more durable. My bushings and links are pretty sloppy."
