"I picked this Cub Cadet up for a parts tractor but she is in too good of shape to just strip down. It goes and goes and never fails. It could use a foot control for the hydro drive but all and all a good tractor with lots of power. 50 inch deck and she does not even know its running. She will cut through just about any thing. Keep them lubed up and change the fluids and they will out last anything on the market today. Would be nice it they all came with a lift. But a great rig worth every penny. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Runs like a tank. Lots of power many of attachments available for it. Cons: Parts can be a little hard due to its age. But they are out there. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA NE I also considered buying: Cub Cadet 108, Cub Cadet 122

"I needed a tractor quick to mow an acre at my new house. Picked up the old Cub Cadet in good condition. It's needed things here and there, but easy to fix, easy to get parts, and worth fixing as it is a solid machine overall. Sure, foot controls for the hydrostatic transmission would be nice, and tighter steering, locking differential, the wish list goes on and on. However, it keeps going and going, and that is worth a lot in my book. I bought a plow, wheel weights and chains. We'll see how it does in the snow. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Solid, parts availability, support network, rebuilability. Cons: Steering radius, lack of foot controls, tie rod ends (keep a supply around). Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA MD I also considered buying:
