Model year: 2013 Date Purchased: 2013-06-01 Number of Hours:

"Bought the mower new around the 1st of June. Used to mow our yard of about 6-7 acres and in-laws 3-4 acres almost weekly. I've had only minor issues. The hour meter continues to read "change oil". We've done this. It says other things for which I can't make out. The service person I spoke with said the read out wasn't very accurate. I have been very pleased otherwise. My first zero turn mower. My wife wanted a mower with a steering wheel, and now she has one. She is the primary user. I get the old mower. I think the price was a little high, but if it last as long as our John Deere, it will have been a good investment. That is to be seen. The JD is 12-13 years old. Has a lot of power. Too loud to use without hearing protection."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Plenty of power, does a good job mowing, appears sturdy. Cons: Hour meter, too loud to use without hearing protection. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA KY I also considered buying:

"Very powerful machine and a great concept but not ready for prime time. The steering design is very poor and appears to be of prototype quality. The entire steering wheel and column rattles and vibrates to the point where it is uncomfortable to operate. MTD has examined but they currently do not have a fix for this problem. The seat pigmentation is also poor. The color started to fade after a few uses. Additionally, the steering locks on tight turns but apparently there is a fix for this."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Powerful engine, height adjustment, solid frame, great design. Cons: Steering noise; steering vibration; steering column noise; seat pigmentation/fading; steering locks on tight turns. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA IN I also considered buying:
