"As many have said, I am no tractor expert. I don't rely on it for my living or manage my entire farm by myself. That being said this is an outstanding piece of equipment. My family has used Ford tractors all my life, large and small for every task you can imagine on a farm and we all love them. The 6610 is a work horse. It has plenty of HP to pull the most demanding implements. It is a heavy tractor and does quite a bit of damage to the fields, especially when wet. I would like to have a smaller tractor for feeding in the winter, but until that happens this one will get me through. I've used the rear diff. lock to get me out of a few sticky spots, and that has worked very well. I use a heavy duty box blade and together with the FEL w/ digging teeth have done some dirt work that was quite rewarding. I've used a boom pole with a hook to move logs and used the FEL to clear brush. I can carry two very large round bales with no fears and pull a heavy round baler. I've had a few things that I had to fix, the steering cylinder went bad and the part were not cheap - but I went to a dealer. I was able to do the work myself, so that is a testament to Ford, not me. It seems to get decent usage of the fuel (at least compared to my Ford Truck). I don't have any complaints about this tractor and would most definitely buy this same model again if I needed a big tractor. I look forward to getting this guy a little brother soon, a Ford in the 4XXX or 5XXX family. One last thing, if you ever plan to haul your tractor anywhere on a trailer, this is a heavy one and will exceed the weight rating for many pick-ups and trailers at over 10,000 lbs. You will likely need a super duty truck and a dual axle trailer. Hope this helps."
