NAA Ford
Golden Jubilee
Model Year: 1953

Bought this 53 NAA with Sherman HI/LO, Davis 100 Loader and inside wheel weights. I've used it with my Woods RM72 looking forward to doing some loader work when things dry out.

Pros: 12 Speed, HD Loader
Cons: No Live PTO

1954 Ford NAA
Model Year: 1954

1954 Ford naa with Sherman transmission. Recently completely rebuilt. Came with 6foot scraper blade and 5 foot bush hog. Two new front tires and both rear tires about 80 percent. Runs great. My second tractor had a Ferguson TO-30 before this one was a good tractor but was hard to find parts for. Ran across good deal on ford man needed to sell tractor and attachments. I decided to buy the Ford. I am very pleased with it. I do not have pictures yet but will send some later.

Pros: Recently rebuilt runs great like Sherman trans.
Cons: Older tractor does not have newer features like log splitter hookups.

NAA Ford
My First Real Tractor
Model Year: 1954

I've had my Ford NAA for a little over a year now. When I first bought the tractor ($1950) I just wanted something I could use to do some chores around the house. I didn't really care what she looked like, just that she worked well. Well, one thing led to another and before I knew it I had her torn apart. I didn't redo the transmission or hydraulics, but pretty much everything else was torn off, cleaned or replaced, and put back together. I still haven't finished the sheet metal, but I've used her in the interim to; dig out a patio and a pool foundation, split wood (with a homemade log splitter), run a cordwood saw, and pull a trailer. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Ford and jump right in. I had literally zero experience with anything this big, but if you can read, have a few friends with more mechanical smarts than yourself, and have this forum you should be okay. I had so much fun refurbishing the NAA I went out and bought a Ford YT16 lawn tractor for a $100. After refurbishing it and buying a leaf catcher attachment for $175 I didn't have to rake one leaf this year!! I know I could have gone out and bought or leased a new Kubota, but I wouldn't have added to my skill set nor would I had had as much fun!

Pros: Use of PTO for various jobs.
Cons: Heavy, ruts in yard, turning radius.

I have a 1954 Ford NAA Jubilee. I mow 12 acres and have used it to cut in a road, rework drives, dig holes, clear snow, and pull out trees. The old tractor runs great and does everything I need to do.

Pros: Dependable.
Cons: Hydraulics a little slow.

1954 Ford NAA
Model Year: 1954

I mow 12 acres with a woods M-5 Brushhog and a woods RM-59 finish mower. I cut in a road a quarter mile long with a 6ft. box blade. I clear snow with a 6ft. woods back blade. I've pulled more than a dozen trees out. This old tractor has been converted to a 12 volt system. It starts right up and does everything I need to do. I've had to replace the fuel tank and exhaust manifold. The hydraulics lift fine but has a slight lag time in response.

Pros: Dependable.
Cons: Hydraulic lag.

My 1954 Ford NAA
Model Year: 0

I recently purchased a 1954 Ford NAA equipped with a loader. The tractor has been well maintained and partially restored. It has been converted to a 12 volt system.

Pros: Runs very well; small, but adequate, size & power.
Cons: Steers really hard due to added weight of front-end loader, even without a load.

NAA Ford
NAA Came with the House
Model Year: 1954

This one got included in the package of yard equipment when we bought an old farmhouse on 10 acres from a family in the 1990's. Use it to pull a trailer around and do yard work. Recently added a rear scoop for moving rocks (oh, should have done that long ago) and a boom arm. Converted to 12V for easier starting. New gas tank being installed in the photo (way easier than we feared). Next winter, we can see about some paint.

Pros: Parts, parts are available everywhere.
Cons: Now and then the PTO shifter won't move.

NAA Ford
1954 Ford NAA Jubilee: 60 Years Old and Still Working for a Living
Model Year: 1954

Bought used in 1994. Have been using it with PTO driven brush hog type cutter to keep 8 acres or so cut. Have kept her running over the years with some, but not many mechanical problems. Mainly points, plugs, rotor, solenoid. Decided to spruce her up in 2010 with original Ford Colors. Great working tractor. I wish it had a loader. Not sure how long she will run before having a major expensive breakdown, so I am beginning to look for something new.

Pros: Well-made, sturdy, heavy frame and metal fenders,
Cons: Old and tired.

My father owned this tractor for thirty years or so, I restored it , I really enjoy this tractor for me and my grandchildren and also to mow with. I hope to pass it on to my kids in the future.

Pros: Very simple design
