"I purchased this 260Z, 60-inch cut unit back in 2009. It has a Kohler 25HP dual; cylinder. It has a separate hydraulic motor for each wheel. It has always started for me and runs great. I retrofitted a 48-inch snow blower to fit on the front and have used that for three winters so far. I also install an electric fertilizer spreader and an electric 10 foot-20 gallon sprayer, so it is used for all my yard needs. My only complaint is that the hydraulic drives can be a little jumpy if you are not careful with the control sticks, Other than that it has been very solid for a 10 year old machine."

"For the money, it is a nice well-working machine that cuts level and clean. However, I do all of my own work and discovered a bit of horrible engineering. Whomever designed the placement of the brake elec. switch and the solenoid... Very poor placement showing very little thought. Secondly is the fuel tank, while placed properly on top of the frame, due to a curved upper lip at seat frame it can not be removed. Lastly is a lack of a drain plug on the gear boxes to replace the oil. Because of this missed opportunity, the units will have to be removed, broken open and refilled for any maintenance. Despite the suggestion that home use will not require maintenance, this assumption is wrong! Worn oil causes the units to stop pulling but a simple oil change fixes the issue and would make it easy if there were a drain plug. Would I buy another one? Only if the simple issues I found were corrected. "
