"Very powerful and capable tractor. Excellent traction with 4 wheel drive and locking rear axle. The front and rear hydraulic lifts are great back savers. Have recently constructed a back dump box from a Toro Dingo loader. Have used the dump box to haul boulders for a shoreline stabilization project. Purchased a snow blower and have built a quick hitch for the front mount. Hope to have the snow blower installed this week. Just removed the mower deck MM52 and the parts to lift the deck could lift a car engine. Most everything on the tractor is overbuilt."

"I have owned this tractor for over 17 years and worked it very hard during those years. It has endured much use and abuse and still runs and works very well. I recently pulled it into the garage and am pulling it apart for a total restoration, new tires, paint etc... as I purchased a JD 1026 series to replace it. I needed the JD for the front end loader and a little more power. Front end loaders for the Honda are very rare and cannot be left on the tractor with the belly mower as is the case with the JD. So after the re-build this one becomes a semi-retired backup mower and nice little riding tractor. The downside of this machine is that accessories and attachments are VERY expensive and hard to find but well worth the expense as they are all very well made, at least those from Honda which are re-badged Woods attachments. The four wheel steering makes this tractor unique and helps with the turning radius. The motor is a Honda so it is pretty well indestructible. Buy one if the price is right but be aware that attachments are hard to find and very expensive compared to their cat 1 counterparts. I recommend a dealer in New York named "Formula H Honda" for parts and accessories, great guys to work with. Google them for their website."

"Bought primarily for launching boats and moving boat lifts and dock. I live on the Mississippi river and changing river levels often require moving gear in and out of the water. Worked great for pulling a jet boat and pontoon around the yard and pushing 64 feet of dock in. Might plow some snow this winter. Will likely use as back up mower. Has a three point hitch with a receiver hitch which takes all the work out of hooking up to trailers. Love the quality of the tractor and the sound of the water cooled engine."

"Honda 5518 A4 multipurpose tractor---selectable 4 wheel drive with 4 wheel steering, 640 cc water cooled 2 cylinder overhead cam gas Honda engine, front and rear PTO, hand and foot throttle, differential lock, 8 forward and 4 reverse with 2 speed aux transmission, hydraulic lift, roll over protection system. The tractor was traded in at a John Deere dealer in Ohio and they advertised it for sale for a good price so I bought it. It had a dent in the hood and the back fenders were all mangled up on the back side. The engine started and ran perfect. I have since added a canopy and put clearance lights on it. I also added a horn with a dash mounted button, brake and tail lights with flashing amber lights, light switch, brake light switch, aux fuse panel, hour meter, receiver hitch, new tires, front fenders, belts on the 52 inch deck and a paint job."
