"I purchased this tractor/mower used with 42 hours on it last year. It had been sitting for over a year, and after airing the tires, replacing the fuel, charging the battery, and cleaning the unit up it started right up. I was leery of the Briggs engine but after a year of using the unit I am a Briggs engine fan. The HydroTorq trans in this unit is serviceable, with a spin-on type trans filter and drain and filler plugs. I changed the filter and refilled the trans with Amsoil 20-50 oil. the unit has performed perfectly and is comfortable to ride and leaves the lawn looking like a golf course. I couldn't be happier with this mower, I can't recommend it high enough. "
"This tractor has been wonderful. Easy to run, plenty of power, reasonable fuel economy, and comfortable to use. It has a serviceable transmission which is very important to me as there are so many models with "throw-away" transmissions out there today. I expect this tractor to serve me for many years. The serviceability is the main reason I choose this model over a John Deere."
"I found a 2011 GTH27V52LS tractor for sale from a landscaper who had switched to all ZTR mowers. He had owned the unit for 1 1/2 years and only put 38 hours on it, he sold it to me for $1500. With my first mowing experience I mowed the backyard of a house in town with a 3/4 acre lot. With my old 42" 14hp Craftsman it took me a little over and hour to mow this yard. With the new Husqvarna I did it in 28 minutes, and the yard looked like a golf course when I was done. I found the mower comfortable, easy to steer, relatively quiet, and fast. Mowing my yard at the farm, about 1 1/2 acres, the mower performed flawlessly and the time was almost half or what it took with my old mower. After reading so much about failing hydro transmissions I went to the dealer to find out how to change the oil in the transmission. I was told that the unit was "factory sealed" and was made to last as long as the tractor. What a crock! I did some investigation and found That my transmission had a spin-on type filter and was indeed serviceable. The factory recommends oil change after 100 hours and after every 400 hours thereafter. I feel that with this unit the only thing lacking is a knowledgeable dealer who is not too lazy to learn about the products he sells."
