"I cut my 2 acres every 5 days or so because I'm obsessed with how my lawn looks with a fresh cut. This mower has it all: - 12V accessory plug which I haven't figured out a use for yet, but it's there. - Tons of power. I've had to tow a 5x8 trailer with a yard of mulch on board. - Positive traction, this will not spin one tire for lack of traction. It locks up every time and pulls unimaginably. Doesn't bog down climbing steep hills either. Cut at my brother in laws and climbed his hill which is probably 40 degrees more than 30' long with no issues. - Blades are the thickest blades over ever seen. I'm guessing they are 1/4" thick and are razor sharp. I've hit a few rocks and couldn't find a dent. - Deck is high quality and very heavy duty. The wash port works great too. - Ergonomics of the seat are good (6'3" tall), gas tank is huge (4 gallons?). - Pedals are easy to operate. - It starts instantly. Faster than a new car and sounds like a v-twin motorcycle. Not too loud either. The only thing I didn't like was the plastic chute cover where the grass exits the deck. It easily stuck out 16" and got in the way all the time. I had to tie it up to drive in and out of my shed because the whole unit was too wide for my double door. I modified the trailer hitch with some channel steel and now I can haul heavier stuff with a hitch. It's a great mower. It's pricey, but you know you're sitting on something quality vs. the stuff you sit on at the box stores. I was hooked the second I sat on it and this was $800 more than I was planning to spend. Wife had a fit, but hasn't brought it up since. Also, I replaced a Craftsman 6 -peed with 42" deck. New mower easily shaves 40 mins off my cutting time. It's because changing speeds is now variable and switching from forward to reverse is so much faster. Cutting is now fun. Good luck, you won't be disappointed."
