"This is a great tractor for someone who wants a beefy little machine that has many possibilities, provided you are mechanically inclined. The cast iron axles are very strong and more like full blown agricultural tractors. The same goes for the hydraulics. virtually anyone can operate this tractor. The addition of a sleeve hitch or 3-point hitch along with hydraulic PTO will make this little tractor more versatile then anything that is available today, that costs less then $5000. "

"I bought my Case 448 with the intention of using it to plow snow in winter and mow grass. What a great machine. Lots of Power, nimble in tight spaces, and its all hydraulic. Parts a readily available and relatively cheap. If you've never operated one I suggest you give one a try. However, since I became the owner of this machine I've since replaced the engine with a B48G 19.9hp model engine from a Roper tractor as the the existing B48M died after a connecting rod let go. Next up for improvements/ repairs is to add a FEL and AG tires out back for more traction. "
