"I have run this little guy way beyond anything that could be expected. We have rocky hillside acreage and I have broken one of the gears in the front 4-wheel drive. I ordered the gear and replaced it in the field. I've bent the bucket the load was so massive. I've cut the tires on rocks. I can't begin to count how many obstacles it's been over without fail. Currently the 4-wheel drive is out, but I'm in the midst of a project that prevents me from repairing it, even though I had to temporarily disconnect the front 4-wheel drive shaft, it still performs exceptionally! The tractor is easy to repair, the parts easy to obtain, and it's a great tractor. I'd highly recommend this machine!"

"Looking back my Jenma 224 has been a good investment. Usual maintenance minor repairs and dependable service. Works well to have a garden, yet small enough to work in tighter areas. Have most attachments but use front bucket the most. "

"Bought new in the box. Came with a loader. Paid 6,500. Had to put it together. Has some nice features: 2 stage clutch, 2 speed PTO, rear hydraulics, 4WD, 3 point hitch. Had to replace starter and battery and all the fluids and filters. The good thing is, parts are available. I am a member of CTOA-Chinese Tractor Owner's Assn. All questions on these tractors answered, and dealers where parts are available. The tires tear up the lawn, and there is no underbelly mower available. It is heavy and powerful. I push down trees with the loader. The electrics are not reliable."

"Average 50 hours a year. Kept under a metal carport. I change the oil every 50 hours and has required only the usual maintenance. I had to change the lower radiator hose and must keep the radiator clean. I use the front loader the most and I have a mower, box blade, road scraper, auger, and tiller. I have a garden every year and I use a Yanmar tiller. This tiller is good for the sandy soil I have. I like the narrow rear tires for the use in my garden. My tractor has about all of the options available for that model."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Good size for having a garden and small wooded acreage. No problems with the 3 cyl. engine. Cons: A few minor hyd. leaks. Need a good parts list book to order parts. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA TX I also considered buying:

"My Jinma 224 for the most part has been an alright tractor-at best. I primarily use it to mow by pulling a 6' Land Pride finish mower and install a few fence posts. My tractor has required a lot of maintenance i.e. hydraulic issues, electrical problems etc. The engine however has given me no problems what so ever. I change oil and fluids as scheduled. My current problem is adjusting the 2-stage clutch. with the amount of hours on the tractor I'm probably going to need to put a new clutch in it. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Strong reliable motor. Cons: Hydraulic problems (fluid bubbling out of breather cap), electrical problems at the fuse block! Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA OH I also considered buying:
