"There are no better tested and tried tractors than John Deere. The brakes work perfect, hydraulics are excellent, and I can get parts for it FAST. And it is really nice to drive. I use it for rotary cutting, roto-tilling, and in the bush pulling and hauling logs out. It is very, very maneuverable---turns on a dime, is ears to shift, sounds throaty and just is a real cool iconic tractor. I grew up on Massey, International, Zetor, Case, and drove many Kubotas. They are NOT JOHN DEERE. And will NEVER BE!"

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Reliable, nice to operate. Cons: John Deere doesn't make loaders for them anymore. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: CND OT I also considered buying: John Deere 5045D, Kubota L4240

"I use this tractor in the bush and it has enough grunt to pull trees while being very maneuverable. I really enjoy driving this easy shifting tractor. Also good on the log splitter with its 10 gpm oil pump. As my great uncle would say---it listens to THE MAN! What a sweet handling tractor. It does things gently at a lower RPM unlike today with high revving engines."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Gutsy, maneuverable, parts availability, iconic. Excellent power steering, brakes, differential lock. It is a Swiss clock. Cons: None. If it was 4WD, it would not turn as sharp. It is hard to find a loader for it. John Deere does not offer one for it. Westendorf does. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: CND OT I also considered buying:
