"I used this tractor to mow 5 acres for 10 years, from 1995 to 2005. It was six years old when I bought it, and it was used to clean up trash and mow a badly neglected 5 acre lot. It was my first riding mower/garden tractor, and we sold it to a friend who still uses it to mow about 3 acres as of 2012. We were sold on John Deere, and bought a new 2005 X595, which is larger and has a little more grunt. The X595 proved far more powerful and capable. I have not any complaints about either machine, and we have just added a nice 770 with a loader, and rear finish mower. Not knowing any better, I actually used the 332 to mow sumac bushes and heavy tangles of green briars. It stood up to all that abuse, and never balked. The only problem was from previous owner "neglect", resulting in badly blocked radiator air passages. It was easy to clean it up with a garden hose after removing the radiator. "

Model year: 0 Date Purchased: 2009-01-10 Number of Hours: 420

"Must have like something about getting a little diesel. Started with a STX 38, then a 216,300,318 and then moved up to collect 3 332s. Diesel has torque, especially when tilling the garden or blowing through deep snow drifts."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Solid frame, built like a tank, yanmar diesel, fuel economy, power steering. Cons: Hand controlled hydrostatic. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: CND OT I also considered buying:
