There have been lots of mixed reviews on this model of John Deere so far. I bought my 2015 5075e used with around 30 hours on it, but it was practically brand new at the time. I have since put around 300 hours on it.
I own a 75-acre hay farm and I use this tractor all summer. My swather is around 10-feet wide and it cuts through the thick alfalfa just fine. I also use this tractor on my small round baler. It has plenty of power to do the things I need it to.
I also use the tractor to plow out my place in the winter and I really enjoy the power reverse option. You don't need to constantly push the clutch in to do the work you need.
I have had zero issues with it so far. There are a few ergonomic changes that could be made but that is all preference. As I stated earlier, I have around 350 hours on it with no issues. I use the tractor as it was intended, UTILITY work. I did not purchase this tractor to clear woods or farm 1,000 acres with. It works perfectly for my small farm and light loader work.
