Model year: 2011 Date Purchased: 2010-07-10 Number of Hours: 346

"Transmission seal went out at 348 hours. Overheated continuously. Dealer suggested filling radiator reservoir to max., so tran./cooler would get coolant. Tractor was only used for baling. Had to use 1993 JD6400 to finish hay season. New Technology doesn't always mean it is more reliable. Bad experience, with this model---costly situation."

"This tractor has gave problems since about 30 hours and then been a nightmare the rest of the time. It has major fuel problems and other annoying little problems. Overall I honestly wish I would have never seen this machine because it is truly a "lemon"."

"I got two John Deere 6430 IVT tractors this summer both had factory mounted 20ft Alamo rear mount boom mowers. The IVT trans is great, very smooth and easy to use and has worked very well for mowing at low speeds. The tractors have great power and are very responsive. The air ride seat and hydraulic cab suspension offer the best ride I have ever had in any equipment on road or off. The flexibility of the hydraulic SCV/ICV is outstanding and adjustments through the command center are quick and easy. Great tractors all around and I couldn't be more pleased."
