"I have had this tractor for just over a year. It has had a few minor issues. The alternator needed replacing at 16 hrs, however it got replaced without incident. The front axle needed some paint touch ups, again, no issue. And finally, the front option fenders were not good and kept ripping off by the front tires. John Deere rebuild with changes at no cost to me and they now work fine. I recommend this tractor for a small acreage, it has help up very well for me and John Deere has treated all the minor things as important and treated me very well. The one area I would like to see JD improve is to include some options as standard such as other makes (ie, lights on rear of cab, etc)"

Pros: Dealership / Company treatment Cons: Price and lacks standard options Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: CND OT I also considered buying: Kubota L4740

"Our 4320 has all the options cab heat and air. Ag tires. self-leveling loader, quick change bucket. Also have a cat-1 quick-hitch on the back. plus a hyd. top link. You can hitch and go without getting off. even on rough ground. It will pull a 6 row no-till planter 5 mph. We could use 3 rear hyd. outlets. It just has one. There has been absolutely nothing wrong with it in 4 years and 900 plus hrs. JD needs to make the 6000 series tractor with a E-hydro trans. Missing the boat. This 4320 will load 4X5 bales almost as quick as a skid steer. 1/3 faster than a 6410. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: User friendly, no problems. Cons: Could use more HP, seat needs holes drilled farther back for bigger people. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: USA IL I also considered buying:

"Poor reliability, especially with the hydraulic system. The unresolved return suction screen issue has damaged and contaminated the hydraulic system on this 3520 as well as previous 4000 series compacts that I have owned. Poor customer service from Deere's recreational division has prompted me to replace my 4000 series Deere's as well as this 3520. None of my previous 4000 or newer 3520 and 100TLB reached the 200 hour mark without having major mechanical/hydraulic issues. Prior Yanmar platformed geared Deere models like the 750, 850, 950 and 1050 were (are) indestructible. We still own a 750 with the 7 iron belly mower that has close to 14000 hrs on it. Other than new tires and a steering cylinder hose, nothing than regular maintenance keeps it going."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Great engine and operator ergonomics. Cons: Poor loader balance, poor reliability, terrible hydraulic and rockshaft performance. Type of User: Homeowner 50-100 Acres Location: USA WI I also considered buying: Kubota L4740, Kubota L45, Caterpillar D3

"Very pleased with this tractor. Have owned 2 Kubotas and 2 New Holland tractors before (bought , used and sold ). Son in law convinced me to buy a Deere. From the moment I sat on it, I found it very user friendly. Seat location & seating far superior to Kubota. All levers, pedals etc. much more comfortable than competition. Fenders and all fiberglass much higher quality than New Holland and not crack prone. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Resale value and comfort. Cons: A little pricier. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: CND OT I also considered buying: Kubota B4200, Kubota L4850

"After using a 1948 Ford 8N with a Dual Front loader on my small hobby farm for a few years, I was helping a friend in Montana and used his newer John Deere. That is when I decided to buy a new John Deere 4320 with a 400X loader. Obviously, there is no comparison between the two. The power and torque of the diesel, plus having 4 wheel drive and the much more capable front loader of which I recently added the 4 in 1 bucket, make the chores so much easier. I also found an almost new 448 backhoe which bolted right on. Now I'm dangerous! Although I still have the ol' 8N, she mainly stays in the shop in hopes of getting restored. Those old tractors have character."

"This is my third compact tractor from John Deere. They are reliable, strong, friendly user, good stability, easy to find part, attachment ect. Best resale value, even on trade at dealer. Worth the money invest."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: All of what you are looking for and more is either there or available. Cons: SCV lever stiff, being told by dealer that they had stiff it up by customer demand, not too sure about that one...need to be investigate! "The John Deere 4320 is a new purchase and I haven't had a chance to check it out really well yet. Bought it with the backhoe, box scraper, front end loader, and snow blower attachments. Seems to be a very nice mid-sized tractor and has quite a bit of power. I also have a 1992 John Deere model 955 with backhoe, 5 foot tiller, 6 foot rear blade, 9" post hole auger, 4' bush hog, and front end loader. This has been a very versatile tractor for me and has saved me much work through the years. For it's size it has an abundance of power. It is also equipped with flotation turf tires keeping yard damage to a minimum."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: So far the 4320 seems to be great all around! Cons: Haven't picked up on any cons as of yet. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA OH I also considered buying:
