It Finally Broke Posted by Norman Stafford on 10/16/2015

I bought my lawn tractor in 2009 when we moved to this bigger house with all the lawns and woods. I must say that I use the tractor a lot like a brush-hog sometimes and it really does the job. I did have the power take-off belt fly off the pulley once when cutting through deep brush and I have had to be careful with the seat because of the splitting of the plastic.

But, I have loved it.. It always starts up just fine and it has always cut the grass well even without having the blades sharpened. Until today.

When I went to cut the grass for the last time of the season, my power take-off wouldn't engage. This could be any number of components because of all the safety interlocks. I thought it was a blown fuse, but when I checked, all of the fuses were okay. I really don't know what to do next. but luckily there are lots of helpful videos.
