"I like the 4x4 and power steering, but the engine has a serious lack of power. And it doesn't go as fast in reverse as my X500 despite adjusting the pedal all the way up. Time is money. Cleaning engine screens is a pain in the ass and the driveline grease fittings are nearly impossible to lubricate without an automotive type lift.
It's a nice rig alright, but not worth the 13 grand I paid. I am starting to regret trading my X500. And drinks just as much fuel as a gas engine, about a gallon an hour."
REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Pros: 4x4, comfortable ride, tight steering radius, gauges, lights.Cons: Fuel drinking, hard to maintain, slow reverse speed, expensive.Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 AcresLocation: USA WVI also considered buying: Kubota B2400 REVIEWER'S PHOTOS

"The tractor was one year old when I bought it with about 70 hours on it. I bought it because my JD 332 would slide away on the hills at my home resulting in a couple of roll overs. I decided I either had to have front wheel brakes or four wheel drive.
The x748 sits on the hills like a rock. I also have a 46 inch blade for plowing snow. It amazes me how much it will push, and I have I believe a 60 inch cutting pan that also does an excellent job. I have never had a problem with it."
REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Pros: It will do any thing it was designed to do very well.Cons: If I had a complaint it would be that the cutting pan raises so much dust. I usually cut with the early morning dew or after a light rain.Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 AcresLocation: CND OTI also considered buying: REVIEWER'S PHOTOS
