DK35 Kioti
Kioti DK35 HST
Model Year: 2008

Good tractor - always starts and works hard. Here are my only complaints: steering will freeze in winter and takes a few feet to break free. The 3ph has a float setting that will drive you nuts. If the tractor is on an incline the height adjustment for the 3ph is screwy. They switched the directional pedals from one rocker type to individual Forward/reverse, sometimes a pain if you are moving the tractor back & forth. The new one has a cab - get that if you are in the north!

Pros: Excellent quality, great power, great value
Cons: Steering freezes in the cold, hard to get to electrical if adding lights or other accessories.

DK35 Kioti
Great Tractor/Dealer
Model Year: 2003

After considerable research, I selected the DK-35 Kioti for quality construction, features and known reliability. Included 3 pt.hitch, quick hitch front end loader with a 4 in 1 clam bucket. Has been and continues to be outstanding in every respect. Had a problem with the front differential and with the parts warranty and an excellent dealer (Runaway Tractor Farm in Grants Pass) was resolved satisfactorily.

Pros: Good quality, performance and reliability
Cons: No complaints

Kioti DK 35

I think the only thing wrong with this tractor is it's too small for my use. In 2008 at 500 hours I operated a JD 9' rotary hay cutter to cut 15 acres of hay and took out the bottom end rebuilt it and no problems since. The dealer was excellent during the rebuild I got all the parts in a matter of days ( the dealer is 70 miles away)and when ever I had a question I got answers. This was the first ever rebuild of a Kioti he had ever experienced but he had done alot of other tractors. I continue to use this tractor for cutting hay but have some old equipment that is better sized for its HP. Its like a time warp to see a modern tractor hooked up to the 50 year old equipment. One other thing I did have to fix was the rollover cylinders on the front loader they kept leaking by. I replaced them with some i found at a surplus place online had to modify but they work great.

Pros: Reliablity
Cons: Kioti loade

2002 Kioti DK35
Model Year: 2002

I have had 2 DK35's a new one and a used one. The new one was a 2005, and was excellent, despite one of the front 4wd splines braking (fixed under warranty). No other issues. The 2002 has had the timer relay and stop actuator replaced. Nothing I would call major. The fit finish and durability of these machines are what sets them a part from the pack. Compare that with the price and they should be high on anyones list of possible tractor purchases.

Pros: Rugged Overall Build
Cons: Piddly Issues

2001 Kioti DK 35
Model Year: 2001

I have a 2001 DK 35 with a KL1450 loader and Rhino 85 backhoe. I have used it to move hundreds of tons of dirt, sand, gravel, rock. For backhoe work, snow plowing, boxblading/grading, brush mowing, pulling a 2 bottom plow. I even use it for mowing the lawn. Starts and works great every time I need it. Strong and reliable.

Pros: Good value, lots of nice features, strong and reliable
Cons: KL 1450 loader has weak bucket rollback power.

DK35 Kioti
Great Tractor
Model Year: 2004

I have my Kioti DK35 since it was new and it has proved to be the single most dependable tractor (I have three) on the farm. It handles the Connor bale wrapper at its ease and is totally suited to the job as its size and maneuverability makes picking round bales of about 600 kilos very easy. Its other duties include mucking out livestock sheds and pasture topping and lawn mowing. To date I have never made a repair to it even though it has been pushed well beyond its intended ability and has always complained.air, oil and fuel filters are great value.I will definitely buy another Kioti perhaps with a cab and a slight bit more horse power.

Pros: fantastic durability ease of maintence simple to operate.Great hydraulics
Cons: top speed a bit on the slow side

DK35 Kioti
Kioti DK-35
Model Year: 2006

My third tractor, and the best value of any I have owned. I shopped Kubotas, Deere, Ford-New Holland, and Massey, before selecting the Kioti for its strength (build quality), HP for the price, features, and simplicity for maintenance. It has all the power I need to mow, landscape and maintain a 30 acre horse farm. It came with a Woods FEL for about $4000 less than a nearly identical Kubota that was slightly used. I use a 6" bush hog, 7' finish mower, large rotary spreader, 7' box and scraper blades, 7' york rake, quick attach forks and bucket, 6' cultivator, 6' rotary tiller, and a pto chipper. It does well with all of them, and has moved over 45 tandem truckloads of Carolina "red dirt" for landscaping. The only gripe I have is the difficulty getting it into and out of FWD - - they have since come up with an electric switch to replace the manual "push / pull" handle in my tractor. The power is honest - - it willl do everything advertised and more. Led me to put my 60HP 2WD up for sale - - just didn't need it anymore. Initially I was torn between a DK 45 and the 35 --- as you can tell, I'm very happy with the choice I made.

Pros: Cost, build quality, dependable, fuel efficient, and easy to maintain.
Cons: Poorly designed shifter for 2WD to 4WD shifting (since redesigned to electric).

Finally Get to Play
Model Year: 2010

Finally got on the new ride for some playing. Tore down an old pool and had to take away some stone and dirt to return it to lawn. While I was at it started to clean out an old fence line. The tractor worked great. At the start I was questioning the decision to buy hydro and not the shuttle shift (to much forklift at work), but by the end of 5 hours the hydro is looking better but it's still going to take a little getting used to. Loader worked great. Full bucket of wet sand, no problem. Back dragging was a breeze. Seat is great, enough room for me to get my wide body comfortable. All in all, a good time was had by all and I can't wait to get back at it again, as I'm sure I can hear more of the fence-line calling. Brent

Pros: Overall comfort of operator compartment.
Cons: I have to drop the ROPS to fit in the shed.

My '06 Kioti DK35
Model Year: 2006

With two years of ownership under my belt, I can say that this is one very well made tractor. It has been stone reliable, and it has held up to some hard use. I can't think of anything I don't like about it other than the fact that I need a cab for winter work. I am building one now, and hopefully it will do the job.

Pros: Well built, reliable, & reasonably priced.
Cons: None that I can think of.
