"I purchased this tractor when we moved to our country location. We have 56 acres with about 5 acres cleared. The backhoe has been quite useful as I have built some roads through the property. I was impressed with how heavy the tractor is built. I have a front loader and a backhoe on it. I like the ease of installing and removing the backhoe attachment."
"Great home owner tractor for doing work around the house and small farm. Purchased mainly move some dirt around and snow removal in the winter."
"I have owned this machine since I purchased it new in 2010. I think the loader could lift a little better but it works okay. I had to have the HST replaced at toward the winter of 2012. It would not stop when pedal was released. Other than that the tractor is awesome. Moved 150 yards of dirt last night (taking my time) in 5 1/2 hours. Going to be moving another 100 + yards today. All in all I really like my Kioti. Except for the HST problem it has been totally reliable. That was fixed under the 4 year warranty. You can't beat that warranty."
"Got this with 60 hrs. dealer and he did the 50 hr. change. I have since used it all around the place pulling roots out of the lawn, cutting roads and holding up 12" trees with the backhoe to chain saw 'em. Now I have woods BH and loader so they are more robust. Just cleared my 900' drive with a hill of 25" of snow on R4s. I think the BH 1200 lb. makes the dif."
"I'm very pleased with this tractor. It has a lot more power than I thought it would. So far it's been very reliable. Runs great. I'll let you know more in a few years."
"Got this machine as when looking at old 60+ yr old heavily used small tractors I found them all overpriced. Bought this unit with a 48 inch bush hog and the FEL for under $20. Since have picked up a 2 furrow plow, 5' 6" box blade, pallet forks and so old spring tooth harrows. Seems to do okay even on the industrial tires for plowing but if it's too wet it doesn't stand a chance. This is more of a hobby farm use and it is handling the work I give it well. Grading driveway, moving firewood, plowing 5 acres, bush hogging 10 acres. HST is a nice feature although some have complained about the pedal sticking mine has seemed to free up after the first few hours of use. I do however keep the tractor inside a barn when not in use which may aid in that. "
"I've had this tractor a year and a half and am only now using it regularly because of a family illness. So that's why the low hours. This is my second compact tractor; the first was a Ford 1320. Overall I'm finding this machine intelligently designed, plenty powerful for its size, solidly built, and easy to operate and maintain. The 50-hour service was no problem to do; I also changed the fuel filter and bled the fuel system with no issues. Most service points are easy or fairly easy to find and access. The manual is well-illustrated and pretty clear, although the "Korean English" can be a little goofy in places, and at least one of the photos has mislabeled parts. I have the industrial tires, which the dealer recommended over the ag tires, and they're working out just fine for me and are easier on the land. When I get some slippage on a muddy trail, I just apply the differential lock and that pulls me out every time (so far). No problem starting it up so far even in cold weather. It's pretty heavy for its size and seems quite stable on uneven ground, although caution in such conditions is always called for. You should have the dealer fill the tires. I have the K-130 FEL and have no complaints about it; it doesn't seem underpowered or flimsy as a few people have claimed. But then again this is my first FEL. The HST is a joy esp. when using the FEL; I can't imagine being without it even though by nature I am a gear man. I will say, though, that the shift lever for H-M-L tends to stick, which can be annoying, but always works free with a little gentle manipulation (or just rocking the tractor with your body weight in the seat). Another minor problem I had is that the headlights filled up with water whenever it rained hard. So there was a bad seal. The dealer replaced the headlight unit with no questions asked. Also the hood latch tended not to release, so often I had to struggle to open the hood. But I've greased it carefully and it seems okay now. Ground clearance could be higher, so exercise usual care when going over stumps etc. as other reviewers have noted. This is a tractor, not a tank. The Kioti CK-35 is plenty of tractor with plenty of power for most applications, and I'm not regretting I didn't get a 40 or 45 hp Kioti. So far so great, and lot better than my old Ford! I'd recommend this tractor to anyone with a small or mid-sized property and mid-sized needs."
