"I have a Kioti DK50SE Hydro with a Woods 90X subframe mounted backhoe, the tractor and backhoe have both been excellent so far, I have done quite a bit of digging and backhoe work as well as cutting/hauling firewood and plowing snow with no problems. The only mechanical issue I have had was a relay which went bad and didn't allow the engine to start, the mechanic came to the house and repaired it free of charge under warranty. Have not had an issue since, this issue may have been cause by the fact that I don't have a shed to park in so I cover with a tarp and sometimes leave uncovered."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Good power, smooth hydro without the whine noise, comfortable, strong loader. Cons: Brush guard needs to be beefed up to actually protect the front end from damage. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA WI I also considered buying: New Holland Boomer 40, LS Tractor R4041H, LS Tractor R4047H

"Having only recently retired and finding myself with 110 acres to manage, this is my first tractor purchase. I looked at the "other" orange, the green and the blue, before making my decision. I found the Kioti offered more features and better performance for less $$$. The quality of the unit is first rate and I've been quite pleased so far. It took little time to realize the FEL lift capacity exceeded the rear-end weight :) In order to make full use of your loader bucket or grapple, it will be necessary to add weight. I don't care for the idea of loading tires or the drivetrain wear from wheel weights, so something like a Heavy Hitch is in my future. My complaints are minor - there is no interior storage space, filling the fuel through the hood is a pain and the throttle lever almost requires a winch to move. I can't say enough good things about my dealer, S&H, in Joplin, Mo. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Quality tractor at a very competitive price. Cons: Owner manual and service manual are extremely poor. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: USA OK I also considered buying:

"The value is incredible. I priced the JD with the same options and was 15K more. The ease of use for a first time tractor owner is very refreshing. I have the bucket, forks and back blade mastered so far. As I looked for used units to save some money, I only found people trading up from smaller tractors that didn’t get the job done for them. I decided to buy the biggest tractor I would ever need and hope the last."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: The HST trans is great. Cons: None so far. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA MI I also considered buying: John Deere 4250, McCormick X10.50M

"This tractor is growing on me! Great dealer and this tractor is a powerhouse. Still having excessive smoke on cold start regardless of air temp. that clears up pretty fast and interior door releases still are not correct, but this tractor has tons of power and hydraulics are velvet smooth. Lots of creature comforts a joy to operate. Dealer parts are fast and priced in line. Still dislike backhoe and sorry I didn't buy another brand backhoe. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Power and hydraulics. Cons: Really just backhoe, learning to live with door latches and start up smoke. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA DE I also considered buying:

"This is my 5th tractor. Keep two in use medium and smaller. I should not rate this Kioti, because I must have a lemon or joke. In the first 3hrs, excessive smoke on cold start with parking brake on I can roll the tractor with one hand. Grappler falls off loader. Grappler can't attach to loader after dealer has had both for a week. Quick attach lock handle comes off in my hand. Left side door rattles or can't open from inside. Backhoe with subframe is just plan weak and twist more than Chubby Checker, compared to my cub/woods 7.5'...hoe seat hits back of cab digging sand in a straight line on level ground. So now at 50 hrs all is still the same and hose still leaking on grappler....had two Kubotas then two cubs and will be buying another 35hp range in the next 30 days, but I don't think it will be a Kioti."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: 3pt lift @ rear, easy to adjust arms. Cons: Poor quality. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA DE I also considered buying: Kubota L4740, John Deere 4720

"I needed a tractor to start managing my 51 acre property. I have over 42 acres of trees, mostly mature Loblolly pine and 10% hardwoods. I am putting in a 5 acre pasture. I have extensive gravel road plus fire access trails I need to maintain. I came to TBN and was advised to get a larger tractor, with as much PTO HP as I could afford. I started with Bobcat CT450 because they are closest dealer, I found Kioti and compared. The Kioti had slightly more lift on the FEL, and the dealer was better. I discovered Mahindra pretty much too late and only did an evaluation of specs and a phone call because they were another 25 miles further away and the tractor was very slightly higher priced. I was also motivated by the Kioti rebate and warranty. The dealer was Fabulous, and I think they were a significant factor in my decision. I Love my tractor!"

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: HST, FEL lift capacity, dealer. Cons: None. Type of User: Homeowner 50-100 Acres Location: USA VA I also considered buying: Bobcat CT450, Mahindra 5035 HST
