"The cab roof cracked in first month, took 6 months to get it fixed. The stereo went out after 2 years. In first year, the rear windshield washer broke and elwald. Kubota sent someone out twice to fix it. The front over head light had to be replace in first month due to water in them. The rear rim was bent when tractor when it arrived. Again elwald Kubota in Seguin, TX said to take a hammer and beat it out. That rim is still bent. After 3 years, front tires started loosing air turns out the cleats on outer rim that bolt to inner rim were cracking away from outer rim. The new tractors are welded around cleat of outer rim. I had to weld my own. Another thing fuel tank started leaking around drain on bottom since it is a plastic tank I had to find a glue that would stick and sealed up drain. Tractor has 12 speeds and actually need a creep speed added but that cost too much. The throttle is in wrong place when turning around in seat to look at plowing in rear I hit it with my knee and tractor throttles down in rpm. Actually no not happy with tractor but I am stuck with it."

"Bought from Normangee tractor in Texas. Tractor is solid. Had a few minor issues. Dealer did respond and apply fixes but with some delay. Having problems with lift and/or joystick controller. All in all a good machine. "

"This machine plows, (moldboard), disc, bales hay,(4x6), loads and unloads hay. feeds rolls to cattle and also drives hammermill. Pulls gravity wagons to crib and loads out manure. As it also has a bucket with quick attach it has also done some landscaping. Has 12sp trans and shuttle with 95hp and all the muscle I need. Would vouche for it's preformance against others of it's class. May not be green or red as our past tractors have been (still have some red), but as I work to live so shall my equipment."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Fits in many different places on farm. Cons: Didn't get with cab. Must shift to lower gear1,2,3 for reverse. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: USA KY I also considered buying:

"Purchased open station model with LA1353S Loader with 3rd function capability and 84" bucket, two rear remotes, cast iron rear wheels and radial tires 12.4x24 front and 18.4x30 rear R1 AG, loaded rears. Very capable tractor, much more stable than I expected, never need additional rear ballast when doing loader tasks. Most of my work is in steep timber where this tractor rarely surprises me with unpredictable movement or shifting of weight. Controls are handy, work station is roomy and comfortable. Transmission shifter is sometimes tricky but expected with a cable shifter. Horsepower is never an issue and 12 speeds make correct gear selection easy. Hydraulic shuttle works very smooth and synchronized 6 speed makes gear changes smoothly. 3pt works precisely in position mode or draft mode. Lift capacity matches or exceeds machine weight. Extendable arms and telescoping links make equipment hookup and unhook simple. Three lift positions on arms and floating setting on lift links make 3pt compatible with any task. Overall very pleased with tractor and glad I went for 9540 over 8540 for added HP and larger tires."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Great HP/WT ratio, very nimble, user friendly work station. Cons: Slightly tricky main transmission shifter. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: USA MO I also considered buying: John Deere 5075M, New Holland T4040
