"We bought the RTV to help my daughter with her horse operation. She uses it daily to haul manure from the 10 stalls. This machine has never failed to start or complete any task. Hauling fire wood, harrowing fields, even pulled a skid steer out of the mud after it got stuck while drilling fence post holes. The slower speed (25 mph) means we don't worry about the grand kids hot rodding it! Has a windshield and metal roof (great for low hanging tree branches)"

"After my wife took-over our ClubCar (gas with the dump bed), I thought I treat myself another Kubota machine around the ranch. We have an L-39, which is the best product, of any kind, I've ever owned. Unfortunately, the RTV is a real pig. It will only see 25mph going down hill. Up hill, on a modest county road, it drops to 10-12 mph. Feels like it wants to die. Not a problem if you live on flat land, and don't want to go trail riding with our buddies. The second drawback, is that the massive looking trailer hitch assembly is only rated for a 110 lb loan. Yes; 110 lbs. It looks strong, but upon investigation one notes that it attached to the leaf spring/axle bracket. Really! That the best they could do? It's not as sexy, but the Club Car is by far a better machine for the hobby farmer. Had ours for ten years and it scoots, with up to 1,000 in the dump. Bot used for $4,500, with low hours. "

"Finally arrived: a 2014 Kubota RTVx900. Options installed were: tinted plastic windshield, plastic black roof, two headrests, RTVx900 bike cover, 72-inch plow kit with electric lift, 4000 lb. winch with cab control, shock/spring upgrade-fronts, CV protection (4), ATV tires. I am going to upgrade my trailer to a 6x12 utility for any further service requirements at the dealer or other. I also have an Artic Cat 500TRV and side by side, no comparison. Just breaking her in for 10 or so hours before any work begins, just dog walks through the trails. Pictures and future experiences to follow."

"At my job, I have 4 XRT900s which are used to tow passenger tram trailers around a 600 acre campus. They run 12-16 hours per day, 7 days a week. Their trailers, when empty, weigh about 2200LB. Loaded, they're around 6000LB. I have put about 5000 hours on each unit in 18 months. I estimate that they have traveled 65000 miles in that time. Thses are some of the hardest-working XRTs anywhere! One transmission was replaced under warranty around 2500 hours. One unit needed rear u-joints at 4500 hours. I've replaced a fuel cutoff solenoid and a couple of starters. Besides that, a few little things not worth mentioning have gone bad. We service these units pretty much by the book every 200 hours and they just keep on going. I fuel them every night, but they could go a day and a half on a tank. If this is the type of vehicle you need, I don't see how you can go wrong with an RTV900."

"Rugged machine. Great to have a platform to haul garden stuff for my wife. Firewood for me. Not sure I can service myself. Hard to get the snow blow on. V208 snowplow shoes are bit flimsy. I bent one the second time out. Shifting takes getting used to. Often have to accelerate then allow engine speed to slow to change gears. "

"Great machine. The engine has a lot of torque. Top speed is only 25 mph, but not having a CVT belt makes up for it. I looked at Polaris, John Deere and Kawasaki. After talking with friends and neighbors who have the belts in their UTVs and ATVs I made the right choice. The hydro transmission works great up and down hills. I don't think I have ever used the brakes other than the parking brake. The hydraulic dump bed is nice when moving firewood. I have loaded the bed up to the top of the roof with wood and put in more than a ton of dirt in there and the hydraulics still dump whatever is in there. Front and rear 2 inch receiver hitches are nice when moving trailers. I wasn't happy with the lower ground clearance and minimal suspension travel when I brought it home. However with a lot of weight in the bed there is a lot less body roll when going over rocks or up and down hills. The vehicle feels really stable. Overall a great tool. If you want to go fast and play in the mud look at another utility vehicle. "
