"This is overpriced and expensive to repair. The dealer is only interested in sales. When you order parts they get the wrong one and it delays repair even more. These should only be sold to people with a trailer to haul it back when it breaks. I'm getting rid of mine and buying a Walmart or home depot brand. Even if you replace it every 5 years, you still come out way ahead. You'll probably spend the cost of a Cub Cadet or Poulan every 5 years in repairs anyway. My Kubota has not done as well as my previous 1998 lawn tractor (Sears) that I used for over 10 years without any major issues. I thought I was buying a quality product, but I got a dainty thing instead. The only plus about buying a Kubota is that I've gotten pretty good at working on lawn tractors (when given the right parts). Never again!"

"I would have rated 5 stars in every category But I was floored when hit with the 1st year routine maintenance cost. of over 500.00. I usually do my own maintenance but a grease fitting broke off on one of my spindles, and had dealer pick up unit to repair and figured while unit was in shop, will let them do annual maintenance. I will do my own maintenance from now on!"

"Enjoy mowing your lawn with this little mower, great machine a real hoot to do your chores! Sadly didn't use it a lot, only 18 hours. Could say a quick fling, but will always be remembered. Finds a new home tomorrow to make way for an MX5100 (a different kind of steed for a different type of purpose. Needing to rip some, but not all, of a 2000 acre property."
