"After changing the transmission fluid to Super UDT2 in March with 955 hours it has developed pulsing and lurching .It is currently at the dealers for diagnosis."
"I changed the bearing on the shaft below the gearbox and replaced the lower oil seal on the gearbox. The vibration is so bad, that bolts will vibrate out of gearbox where the gearbox bolts attach to the brackets which mount the gearbox to the mower deck. If I run the motor over 2000 RPM, the vibration gets very excessive. Has anyone had this problem? "
"This is one fine little tractor. I talked my 89 year old father into buying a Kubota to take care of his farm, pasture and lawn. We had had a number of large tractors when the farm was mostly in cultivation. His only late life hobby was restoring old farm tractors but he had gotten to the point in life that it was difficult for him to handle a big tractor for bush hogging and mowing. He bought the Kubota with power steering, a hydramatic transmission, and 4-wheel drive with belly mower and bush hog. I inherited the tractor when he was passed on. I added a rear blade and use it on my 5 acres in the Atlanta suburbs. It is a pleasure to operate and I'm sure it will "see me out". "
"I bought this tractor with no prior experience. I researched John Deere and New Holland but neither dealer was as in depth as the Kubota dealer was. I find the capabilities of this machine exceed the ratings for most implements I have tried so I am very pleased with that. It does everything I need it too but overall I find it a bit small. I'm 6' tall and getting on/off is best done only one way. Also the bucket lift height would be nice if it was taller. I prefer the John Deere forward/reverse pedal configuration but this one is fine too. My dream tractor will be physically larger and likely more powerful but as I said this one works."
"Great tractor. Tiller works great. Front end loader with pallet forks---great. 4WD. Burns very little fuel. Stronger in every respect than I expected."
"Bought the tractor with belly mower for my wife for her anniversary gift, then I added a LA352 loader. Wife is very happy with her garden tool."
"The front loader riser valve sticks in the fully down position making the tractor unable to move."
"We purchased this tractor used when we moved to our current place in TX. It was purchased new by the previous homeowner from the local Kubota dealer and maintained exactly per the operator's guide. The tractor has Turf tires and HST, so is not suitable for serious farming (ground engaging type) work. Overall it's a good tractor at a good price but the quality of construction leaves something to be desired. The sheet metal parts are thin and fitted together with tabs, this does not make for a strong connection. The HST shock is located where it is subject to damage and contamination even with normal use. When it fails, as ours did, you cannot find "N" with the direction/speed control pedal. Due to frequent model revisions, OEM attachments like a FEL are no longer offered, forcing people to buy aftermarket attachments."
"This has been the best gift I got when we got married. From the nasty 2003 snow storm that had our driveway blocked off when we got back from Puerto Rico to clearing our lot of raspberry bushes before we build our new home, the tractor has been the indispensable tool. Every year I consider either upgrading it or maybe augmenting it with a bobcat. But I would say its absolutely the most capable piece of equipment. I also have a ZD326 which is perfect for mowing but is not even close to being the utilitarian tool that the B2410 has been. "
"I have had this machine now for 8 years. It always performs. It will actually do more, usually, than I think it will. We have about three acres on a hill outside of Seattle and the jobs it is asked to do are varied. We have completely re-landscaped our property, moved and placed major sized rocks, cut grass, smoothed dirt, pulled out trees roots, fence posts etc. Could not live without it or the front end loader. Major inconveniences are the lack of any where to put a jacket or water bottle during long use periods. Only real issue is with the cost of replacement parts and dealer service in our area. I would like to have had more access to components from a design viewpoint. Also the center mount mower is hard to get on and off till you really work out a procedure. "
