BX2660 Kubota
Kubota BX2660
Model Year: 2009

I traded in my GR2100 after the warranty was about to expire and purchased this little beauty! Sure it is more tractor than I actually need. But having the FEL to spread mulch, and this winter plow snow is very handy. I put more hours in this tractor in nine months than the other one in two years. Does everything you ask from it and still has power to spare.

Pros: Power, 4WD, Diff lock, power steering.
Cons: Needs better lights - I had to add the BXpanded light kit .

BX2660 Kubota
BX2660 Number 9
Model Year: 2009

This BX is my 4th BX. It has the best seat of any of the other BX's, has plenty of power and is a pleasure to operate. Have had a #1 BX2200, #3 BX1500, and a #8 BX2350 and just bought for #10 a BX25 but not much seat time on it yet. The HST whines pretty loud, the hand throttle is stiff (needs adjusting) fuel guage works erratic and right front tire leaks air out. Has Turf tires and does great in snow.

Pros: Plenty of power and always starts
Cons: Loud whine transmission, Front tire leaks air and Fuel guage erratic

BX2660 Kubota
Great little machine
Model Year: 2009

Bear in mind this is my first tractor ever. It's done almost everything I've asked it, except for things I did not know were beyond it. For example, digging up roots larger than about two inches in diameter, or picking up a crate that I was sure was lighter than 500 lbs. :)

Pros: solid machine, great feel to it, attachments a snap, expensive
Cons: needs more factory lights esp rear-pointing. needs factory skidplate

BX2660 Kubota
Kubota BX2660

This is an excellent tractor for the small farm / acreage. I do not have a Mid-Mount mower since I use a Craftsman lawn tractor for the mowing. I have a FEL, rear blade, DR power grader and middle buster for it. All of the functions of this tractor are great. The only thing I have an issue with is the HST which, I think, makes too much noise. I have read the comments of other Kubota owners and they have the same sounds. the functionality of the HST far out weighs the whine of the transmission. The tractor can lift as much with the bucket as I can get into it and has no problems. I feel that the tractor is an excellent buy and would be a great addition to anyone's equipment stable. I purchased my tractor from Dubberly Tractor in Chester VA and can not rate them any higher. the service from them is excellent and their knowledge is exceptional. I would highly recommend them for the purchase of any of the line of equipment they carry.

Pros: Reliable and great work horse
Cons: Whining hydraluics / HST.

BX2660 Kubota
So Far So Good
Model Year: 2008

With just one year's worth use of 60"MMM, FEL lifting large rocks and dirt and lots of snow removal (FEL and BB), I am satisfied with this machine. Although I've used a nice Case 18HP gas garden tractor for many years, this diesel is a new tractor experience for me. It has more possibilities for the small landowner, albeit at more expense for the tractor and attachments. If it takes the wear and tear and years as well as my Case 448, I'll be happy. Everything works well except for one leaky front tire and the logos don't seem to be well attached.

Pros: This is a quality product
Cons: none

BX2660 Kubota
My first tractor
Model Year: 2009

We bought our house with 37 acres and a pond. We decided we needed a tiller to prepare a substantial garden and a brush hog to keep a huge meadow under control. The tractor has performed these tasks admirably. I first used the FEL to move nearly 100 boxes of household goods from the barn to the house a few at a time to unpack. The tiller worked very well preparing our garden last year, and I've just tilled the garden for this year. I cleared about 25 acres of brush using the brush hog, and cleared all the small saplings with ease. I have had only a few problems, and the dealer has been very helpful. My biggest problem has been changing the attachments to the 3 point hitch. I'm getting better at it, but it's still an agonizing experience. My friends who have other tractor brands have the same problem so it's not a ding on Kubota. The lever that engages the PTO sometimes doesn't always disengage the interlock switch, so I have to hold it manually back in order to start the tractor. I guess it's just an adjustment which I'll have the dealer do when it's time for maintenance. I can't speak to its snow removal capacity. We had a lot of snow this winter, but the barn door was frozen shut, so I had to get someone else to plow my half-mile long winding uphill driveway. All in all, it's what I (and I suspect most guys) have always wanted - acreage and a tractor.

Pros: Price competetive with JD; Solidly built; Did all I asked
Cons: Front tire leaked ai

Good strong tractor
Model Year: 2009

I have had this tractor for a couple months now and put this machine through it's paces. Front End Loader is solid and lifts a fair amount of weight. Mid Mount Mower produces a very nice cut but is a pain to get on (not much room to put the shaft onto the PTO and it can cause a lot of unwanted words to come out of your mouth.) Rotor Tiller is very powerfull and makes short work of the ground it is digging into. The seat is very comfy, controlls are all easy to reach. Hydrostatic transmission whines really bad but performance is not affected. Had problem with leak on front tire but the dealer fixed it by installing a tube inside it. Tektite deluxe cab is a nice feature but is really loud inside, engine runs hotter and requires a big portion of the tractors HP to get the whole unit moving. But after mowing 47 acres of pasture land with a 60" mower and still wanting more makes this tractor more than enough for anyone with a small ranch.

Pros: Reliable, strong, well built, 4 WD, differential lock
Cons: Hydrostatic Transmission Loud, can be a rough ride

BX2660 Kubota
Good small multi-purpose tractor
Model Year: 2010

This tractor is very nice, very comfortable to drive and does most acerage chores with no struggle. The three point lift system is just a basic non position control system, which makes it a pain when plowing small fields or using a box scrapper on a driveway. The hydrostatic transmission whines a lot especially when under load. MMM can go through thick grass in hilly terrain with little difficulty. It is a light tractor so if you will be using the FEL then get a balast box. Too many times have I had the balast box attached with 210Lbs weight in it and I still managed to put both front and one rear wheels in the air. The optional cab is very nice, but loud inside and the engine tends to run on the hotter side. All in all this tractor never ceases to amaze me on it's ability.

Pros: Comfortable drivers area, lots of power for little tractor, and very little downtime.
Cons: Hydrostatic transmission loud, runs hot, too light for it's size, 3 point lift system should have position control and draft control.

The tractor with the mower attachment does a great job mowing my yard. However I've been waiting since the time I purchased for a grass catcher attachment. When I picked up the tractor, after several uses I checked the transmission fluid and it needed almost a gallon of fluid added to it. The dealer sent me a free gallon of fluid to add to it. The mower deck is kind of hard to take off and mount back for cleaning and greasing the fittings. Overall the unit runs well and is built to last a long time.

Pros: Sturdiness and built to last.
Cons: Attachments are kind of difficult to mount.
