Kubota L3800 Review
Kubota L3800DT: A Good Little, Multi-Purpose Utility Tractor
Posted by Jim on 08/20/2014
Bought this because I needed a Front End Loader Tractor that had the ability to handle any small to moderate task. With the L-544 Front Loader added to this, I can clean out my barns and easily transport the 4x5 1/2 round bales to where I need them. Don't get me wrong, this is not going to double stack bales in the barn or lift great big loads, but it will handle a 5-ft. Howse bushhog and a 3-point PTO driven posthole auger. It is a strain on it to pull a 2-bottom 14 inch Dearborn plow, but I also plow as deep as the 3-point will drop and allow.

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Versatile. Smaller size makes for easier maneuverability, especially in and around the barn. Seems to be easy on fuel (diesel) so far, controls are very handily located.
Cons: Would like to see a bit more engine power so unit could have a heavier stance. Power to weight ratio as is, makes it easy to get into trouble if not really paying attention.
