Almost Perfect for It's Size Posted by Beanboy on 04/02/2014

My Kubota L3800 is almost perfect for intended use, mostly road grading, plowing and planting food plots, and slipping between the rows in planted pine plantation mowing trails to deer stand.

Would give firewall-5s except the shuttle-shift doesn't shift without a complete stop and full depression of clutch. For it's size and weight it pulls amazingly well. I have a 7ft Land Pride disc that is really a little large for this HP but still not heavy enough to break-up heavy peanut grass in hard, dry ground. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the fit, finish, and value of this unit.

Several things needing improvement: brake-on indicator, bigger tool box, larger cup holder, (my coffee mug holds 4 cups and doesn't fit the standard holder. Plan to upgrade to more HP soon, looking at L4600 now.
