"Work horse - this tractor has performed amazingly for employees and myself. It is a great tractor and still going after all we have put it through. One employee lost the swivel pin driving down the road at max speed, the front end fell off, they drove it into the ground, and broke gears on the right side. We put it back together and it works great. This is one tough tractor."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Starts every time Cons: No access on right hand of tractor, high getting onto tractor Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA TX I also considered buying:

"This tractor has performed great for me. It uses approx 1/2 gal per hour fuel with full load. Has shuttle shift which is wonderful for utility work. Has power steering, 4 wheel drive. The only features that I find a little annoying is the height of the step to mount the tractor is higher than comfortable for older guys like me. However, I used some threaded rod and a piece od steel and added a step for easier mounting. Also the wheeelbase is short and in rough terrain it rides a little jumpy."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Very handy, can be moved with standard pickup. Cons: Short wheelbase, ride suffers. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA NC I also considered buying:

"While I have only owned this Kubota for a few years, it belonged to my best friend for over 15 years and over that time I have run this thing like a sled dog. It just keeps going. Couldn't ask for better."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Sturdy engine, reliability. Cons: With the glide-shift-transmission, I can't find many of any. I love this machine. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA TX I also considered buying: Ford 9N

"I love this tractor, for its size it is an awesome unit. I mow up yo 18 acres in a full work day (like 10-12 hrs) as well as landscape, rototill, plow, grade, auger and chip with relative ease. When plowing snow I do chain up the front for better traction. The only negative is that you have to use your right foot to engage the rear locker which is the same as the throttle. There is a hand throttle but that is a steady speed and not easily variable. I do plan on altering that function to work with my left foot."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Maneuverable. Cons: Rear locker location. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA WA I also considered buying:

"Bought it used with 250 hours on it. It had been used on an ice removal contract at DIA airport in Denver, so it had an after market cab and heater. The bucket edge was already worn down and a new one had been welded on. We use it for light excavating, landscaping, post hole drilling, raking, road maint, snow removal, mowing, and horse barn maintenance. It's been a great little machine. It's always started in the coldest of weather. It has a slow hydraulic leak on the right front which needs to be fixed. Had one hydraulic line rub through and leak. I wish it came with more hydraulic connections and valves. I also wish the hydraulic action was smoother on the bucket. Maybe it could be improved with some simple adjustments that I'm ignorant of, but it can be very touchy and hard to control with finesse."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Very reliable and capable. Cons: Hydraulic leak but it's probably not out of the ordinary. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA CO I also considered buying:

"This tractor is a perfect mix of size and performance for our needs, which is to haul wood from the woods to heat with and other agricultural purposes. It's small enough to drive in the woods, yet has lots of power to haul things with."

Pros: Lots of power and maneuverable. Cons: They don't give these away. Type of User: Homeowner 50-100 Acres Location: USA MA I also considered buying: John Deere 850
