"My Kubota L305DT was quite used when I got it in 1998 and my review now covers the last 18 years of heavy use while this was my only tractor. It has been a solid work horse on my sheep farm. Other than batteries and a starter replacement with a hydraulic lever replacement for the loader, this tractor has been dependable and I have heavily relied on it to mow long hours in blistering heat and tall forages. It has moved heavy mediums and pulled various farm attachments, while never breaking down or failing to complete the job. The motor still runs strong. The hour meter was not working when I got it and it had plenty of cosmetic flaws, so I have no idea how many hours were on it back in 1998. It had been used in a heavy logging operation with an oversized bucket. The seller warned me it was quite used. Eighteen years later, I have regrets buying it. "
"This a really nice tractor. I bought it as the 2nd owner and had the bush hog brand loader installed. This tractor with the loader is almost as important as my pick-up or house. Well I bet most of you here can relate to to that :). Anyway I consider this tractor a perfect multi task unit for small and even large jobs. Small enough to scrape horse pens and stout enough to move large hay bails. "
"I purchased two L305DT Kubotas. One because it was in good condition with turf tires for $3400 delivered from CL. The second tractor has a broken transmission which had Kubota K116 FLO, Ag tires and all other parts that appear in good condition. I also recently purchased 67" box scraper and an 96" rock rake for use with the small tractor. I am in process of mounting FLO on good tractor. I think one of the glow plugs may not be working causing difficulty in starting. Once started runs great. "
"I recently purchased my 1980 Kubota L305DT for bush hogging and managing food plots for deer hunts in upper Cumberland Tennessee area. First, I am doing a complete restoration of mechanical and cosmetics. This will be a challenge. I am new to this tractor thing! I live in Florida and play in Tennessee."
"Overall, this tractor met my expectations. At 30 hp it was a little underpowered for aggressive brush hogging so I bought another tractor with more HP to do that task. Other than routine maintenance, there have been a few things over the past 25 yrs I've owned the tractor that needed to be fixed such as water pump rebuilds, 4WD front axle seals, engine and tranny seal leaks, and clutch replacement, but overall, nothing that shouldn't be expected."
