From a Ford 30hp 4x4 to a Kubota 47hp 4x4
Model Year: 1996
Have a Ford model 1910, 30 HP diesel, 4x4 and bought this Kubota. It is a lot better for all jobs, but it doesn't really do anything my 30 HP didn't do. It just does them easier. The 30 HP pulled my 2 bottom 14" plow easily. This Kubota does it more easily. It is better for my 3-point backhoe. Makes it more stable. Also the bucket is nicer with quick-release bucket. The larger tractor is not as good for heavily wooded areas. If you go into lots of woods the 30 hp size can't be beat. 30 hp is so much more power and weight over the 20 hp sizes. This Kubota 47hp 4x4 is a wonderful tractor with full power steering and enough power to do all my implements. 5' tiller, 6' commercial blade with rear wheel. Actually digs 4" cuts with no bending on uncut ground. 5' box, 7' finish mower, Bushog brand backho with 1', 1.5', and 2' buckets, 20" subsoiler, John Deere 5' bushog.
Pros: Full power steering, dual remote hydraulics, lots of legroom.
Cons: A little bigger if your in the woods a lot, a 30 HP size wins that vote.
