"I bought a new Kubota T1560 with a 41-inch deck in 1998, and have mowed about 1.25 acres of lawn weekly ever since, without any problems.
I have it serviced once a year by a dealer, who does an oil change, tuneup, and sharpening or blade replacement. The pulleys and belts have been replaced once, and it has gone through a battery or two.
The only complaints I have are its slow speed (4-5 mph), and that it does a poor job of picking up the clippings. The latter may be the result of our wet Northwest grass, rather than any fault of the mower. I'm moving to a larger place, with about 3 acres of lawn, and I plan on adding a larger machine but will keep this one for mowing closer to the house."
