"The 4" wide beam that runs from mid-way of the frame to the front bumper isn't built strong enough for the power of the tractor. The front section of the frame has bent upward. It has caused my fan to hit the shroud and my drive shaft that controls the 4wheel drive has nearly fell out of the housing. "
"I purchased an LS I3040 new in March of 2011 because it appeared to be the best value in the price range. That opinion hasn't changed 410 hours later. It has performed flawlessly. I have used it for removing barn waste, clearing brush, mowing, snow removal and moving large square bales of hay with a hay spear. The skid steer loader makes removing the bucket and attaching the hay spear quite easy. It is economical and quiet. It starts in cold weather."
"I have had my I3040 since March of 2011 and have about 410 hours on it now. It is powerful and economical. It seemed like the best bang for the buck at the time of purchase and has performed flawlessly for overs 400 hours. I have used it for mowing, hauling barn waste and for clearing brush. Also for moving big square bales of hay (with a hay spear) and have yet to be disappointed. "
"Just signed up. I have had this tractor for a little over two years and put 110 hours on it. It is used mostly to rotary cut the land. I like it. It seems to run very well and is dependable. It is easy to maintain. The only issue I have with it is the capacity of the lift. I made my own forks and tried to lift my 6' Rotary mower and it would not pick it up. I am pretty sure it is just an adjustment but I have not had the ability to get it back to the dealer. The other small problem is the fuel gauge is not accurate and the horn intermittently works. All that aside, I feel that these LS tractors have a lot of value for the money. A 5 year warranty is helpful too!"
