"We ended a year long search when we bought this tractor. With some research we found this is the same tractor as many other brands, built in the same factory. The 38 HP seemed better than the lower hp because of the hydro-static transmission. My wife learned to be comfortable with it in 5 min. The trans. also stops the tractor when you let off the pedal. We are too new to give a longevity review but my neighbor has the same engine in a much older tractor with zero problems. This tractor fits good for home owner use. I could not dig up any serious negative reviews."

"Only owned the tractor for a few weeks, so I can't really comment on the long term reliability. I did do a lot of research and test driving tractors of friends and test sitting in showroom models of primarily Kubota and John Deere. My LS3038H has all of the features I wanted (loader and PTO for various implements). My primary use is a 3/4 acre garden. The only less than optimum features I have noticed to date are that the control mount for the loader extends so far into the operator space that you cannot exit the drivers seat to the right side. You must enter and exit from the left side. Also, the rated digging depth for the loader is only 2 inches compared to 5 or 6 inches for other models and brands. This is not a problem for me since I do not plan to do any digging, but might pose a problem if you need to do a lot of digging."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Value, features, controls easy to reach. Cons: Digging depth, loader control location. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA SC I also considered buying: Kubota L3430, Kubota L3830, LS Tractor G3033H

"Okay. First, the not so good. Engine did (tried) to do a run-a-way. Hit forward and the brake at the same time....hard. Key was off and throttle was back. Got it shut down within a few seconds. Dealer picked it up and it was back the next day. Some thing with the oil let it get into the intake. Then it had a cylinder leak. Picked up and back next morning. Recently the loader wouldn't go down. Dealer fixed it in no time. Awesome service from Richard's small engines in Ellettsville, IN. Now the great. This thing is amazing. Huge amounts of power, super maneuverable. Picks up round bales like they are nothing. Excellent traction (industrial tires). Easy to drive and use. Very user friendly. Excellent quality all the way around. Super easy on the fuel. All day long on 5 gallons and that's working it hard. Comfortable even for my big man, 6' 4" frame. Everyone has had positive things to say about it. It's done everything asked of it. Saved thousands over buying the New Holland or John Deere with the same features. The quality is better on the LS in my opinion. If given the choice of a JD, NH or LS, it will be the LS hands down every time and in case you're wondering, money was never an issue. Best tractor ever and the price makes it that much sweeter! Excellent product, Awesome service and support from the dealer and the quality is outstanding. I highly recommend the LS. Especially the G3038H!"

"Let me start off with that I had been looking at upgrading for several years from my old 80's vintage Kubota. I spent a ton of time looking at newer used tractors and really could not find exactly what I wanted which was a solid dependable tractor that could pull a 6' shredder and blade, FEL, and had HST in a reasonable price range. Then, by accident, I saw an ad where a gentleman locally was selling his existing Yanmar for a larger one and he mentioned that the new one was an LS from RCO Tractor in Texas. I was curious so I pulled up the RCO site and started looking at the LS. I was pretty amazed, for only a few grand more than the used tractors I was looking at, I could get a new tractor that based on the research was quite a value based on the new tractors from other mainline brands. It also surprised me that LS had been building tractors for other mainline brands, and it reminded me of when Kubota first started being marketed here in the US. I was very pleased with the patience shown by the RCO Tractor team with my endless questions about what I wanted to purchase, and speaking to my concerns with purchasing a tractor from a dealer 130 miles away from my place. I did a ton of research on the forums here and decided to give RCO and LS a try. So far I am glad I did. The G3038H is the perfect combination of what I needed here on my 12 acres. I configured it with the HST, FEL, a 6' Howse shredder, a 6' Box Blade, and an Ardvark Diamond plate aluminum Sun canopy. Delivery took less than ten business days. For my first weekend, I have been shredding very deep pasture. The G3038H has plenty of power to shred. the FEL has been great, having used it to also move some dirt, break down some branches to push through to parts of my pasture that were overgrown, and with the HST, My wife has also been able to shred with it quite effectively. Operator position and controls are well thought out and easy to use. I only have about ten hours so far, but I am favorably impressed with the performance, build quality and ease of use."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
