"This tractor was purchased to maintain our steep sloping land in Yandina, Queensland. I thought the price was good considering the low hours and the attachments. It has done no work since I bought it as the I discovered the RH brake not working when I got it home. Sloping block with one wheel braking = roll over. I have an auto trade back ground and plenty of time so I went looking for the cause. This turned out to be a broken brake shaft that is geared to the diff. I'm still waiting on the part from China (3 weeks so far).Good thing I've learned to be patient. Something else I will need to repair is the bent FEL 50x70 beam. This has been bent by a previous owner over clamping the the bucket on something. I intend to weld in a new beam with heavier wall thickness. I have also replaced thermostat & coolant recovery bottle (both missing). This will ensure the engine runs in the correct temperature range. More will be revealed when I put it to work. Australian part numbers for some items as follows: Thermostat: DAYCO DT17a (this does leave bypass open as per original design). Coolant recovery bottle: Burson auto parts generic item plus modify mounting bracket. Engine oil filter: RYCO Z79a Fuel filter: Wesfil WZ169MN Hoping to read more Lenar spares information if from other owners. Regards, spannerhanz"

"This little tractor has been flawless other than a few hiccups like the rear brakes needing cleaned and some lube points lubed that are not mentioned in the owners manual. Have put it to work with a front end loader, rototiller and backhoe. Never has let me down yet other than a dead battery once, which was my fault for letting the ignition on all night. Keep a strict lube and fluids change schedule and this little unit will treat you as good as you treat it."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Good value and dependable. Cons: Owners manual could be slightly more detailed. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA FL I also considered buying: Mahindra 2525

"I have found this tractor to be excellent value and well built. So far I have not experienced any of the problems some owners have written about in the forum. It starts first time does not overheat and providing you remember it is only 25hp it does what you ask of it."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Mostly well built. Cons: Better with more power. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: EUR OT I also considered buying:

"I bought this tractor second hand with 50 hours on it. It is OK for moving dirt and pulling cut down trees around. It struggles slashing, especially if it is a hot day. Once the motor gets hot, the oil thins out as there is no oil cooler. The hydraulic oil also gets hot and all the hydraulics, including the PTO, do not work as well. The oil sender unit stopped working, the ignition needs to be pulled apart and cleaned a lot otherwise it won't turn on. The seals on the front axle are felt!!! The dealer the original owner got it from no longer deals in Lenar's so I don't know what will happen for parts. Even though they are marketed as Lenar by Mahindra, Mahindra don't want to know anything about them. To sum up, it is Chinese made. So the metal is poor quality, electrical is hopeless, finish is poor. I would consider another maker before Lenar."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Heavy for pulling trees. Cons: It is chinese made. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: AUS OT I also considered buying: East Wind DFS 254
