I bought this tractor with a bad engine. I repaired the engine and have been using it for harvesting wood and the upkeep of my yard and driveway. The four wheel drive is great since my woodlot is on a side hill. My previous tractor was a Ford 641 2-wheel drive with a loader, but no power steering. It was a nice tractor, but not the best suited to my needs. The Long also has a loader and I have an antique Fransgard winch.
I have had to replace tie rod ends and repair the power steering as well as some other minor things to repair, like the tachometer. All and all, for the modest amount of money I have in it this tractor, it does everything I need it to.
