"The Long 445 is a UTB Tractor built in Romania. It is a tough little tractor complete with remote hydraulics. I like a small tractor with remotes because so many light implements require them and I hate to use a large fuel burning tractor to do light work. The 445 has done an excellent job running a tedder and rake in the hay field though it is to light to run a 10' hay mower. With a loader it can also make short work of loading hay. The only negative I see with the tractor is the shifter takes some getting use to. The high low range is integrated into one shifter with the 3 speed trans giving you 6 forward and 2 reverse. One thing to watch out for is not to leave the tractor out in the rain as both 445S I have let water in the trans case. I spent 900 to purchase one tractor and 1500 on the other and have only had to replace one power steering hose; so for a couple of old tractors they can't be beat."
