"I bought a 2016 2538. The tractor itself does well, but the loader is junk! The tilt wont hold position to save its life. We did a $1500 upgrade by adding a re-circulation pump (not part of the 2538 lineup) but it made no difference. I am unable to trust this tractor in my daily needs. "

"I bought this tractor second hand with 30 hrs on it and just on 12 months old. Overall it has been OK. It is typical Chinese build with lots of little things failing. The oil pressure sender unit failed (I replaced it myself with better one). The PTO neutral switch doesn't work, the neutral gear starter switch is starting to fail, some of the FEL hydraulics leak, the screen in front of the radiator cannot be removed while the FEL is on, the PTO speed selector is difficult to get into position, and the clutch has an unusual feel to it so you are not quite sure if it is in enough. Overall, it's probably best to stay away from Chinese made tractors unless you get it at a really cheap price. "
