"Dealer is delivering this afternoon."
"Only 20 hours so far, but at this point I'm very satisfied with this tractor. It's good looking, ruggedly built, and does what it's supposed to do. Can't really find any faults, but then again, there are only 20 hours on it. I had a MF 1540 Powershuttle a few years ago and I was very happy with that tractor. This new 1643 appears to be an improved model, with slight changes for the better here and there like (maybe) a better seat, better ROPS (no rattling noise like on the 1540), better looks, and (maybe) a better loader. Not sure about the last one, however, as the 1525 loader was more or less the equal of this new DL120. There is a rattle somewhere near the hood at 2,100 rpm. Haven't located it yet. That's about the only thing that's annoying right now about the tractor. If the tractor didn't have to do so much loader work, I'd have gotten another Power shuttle instead of the Hydro, which has to have the revs up high to get the performance it's capable of."
"Can't imagine working 40 acres without a tractor. If you get a backhoe be sure to get a mechanical thumb. Mine is fixed (no hydraulics) but works great. I was able to lift ~300 stumps into a dump trailer. Don't know how I would done without the tractor. Dug a 60 ft. long trench for buried exit wand cabling for automatic gate. I dug up a huge stump in area where I wanted to park my camp trailer while building a garage. Used the back hoe to dig the trench for floor drains under the garage floor. I spread road base material around the garage when complete. With a smooth garage floor even the snow plow is easy to attach. I used the front end loader to carry the plow into the garage and set it on some heavy duty furniture Dolly's. Then rolled it under the tractor and with a floor jack raised it up and pinned in place, no sweat. There were no surprises at the fifty hr. service and I'm good to go for another winter. Only your imagination limit what you can do with this tractor. Love that cab when plowing."
"After only 15 hrs. It's tough to give a real beneficial review. I like the tractor. The cab is great when plowing snow @ 9700 ft. Elev. when it's snowing. The frame mounted Massey plow works good. Be sure to wire tie the hydraulic hoses against the the tractor frame. I had a tire chain on the front come off and hook the hose support bracket and rotated it 90 degrees downward slightly damaging one hydraulic lines. The plow and grader when offset at an angle make a great combination for plowing. The backhoe with mechanical thumb has worked great lifting large logs and placing them in the saw buck for cutting with a chain saw. The front loader and back hoe are easily removed and reinstalled. The plow really requires two people to install since it is pinned under the frame of the tractor. The tractor has started great cold weather, 25 F. Definitely need chains on all four wheels for deep snow and ice. I'm happy with the purchase at this time and look forward to trying new things."
"I'll start by admitting I haven't spent that much time in this tractor yet. Most of it has been mowing with a 6ft finish mower. It has plenty of power to mow pull climb hills and the like. However, it has been my experience that the front end loader is weak especially when digging. I recently purchased and installed a toothbar for the DL120 FEL. Within 30 min of trying to pull up some smaller shrubs I noticed there was little power when trying to pull them by the roots. I had dug under them and was only under around 6 inches of dirt when the front end loader bogged down and wouldn't lift. I increased rpms and tried again...nothing. So, I called my dealer and they came to look at it. After doing some digging of there own they callied AGCO. They responded with the information that the FEL is ultimately too large for the tractor. Despite being rated @ 1900lbs I would say that I would be fortune to lift 500lbs. AGCO didn't have any answers other than that. So, IMHO if you are really looking for a tractor and need some real heavy lifting I would buy something else. I have read the other reviews and am happy for those whom have had a better experience with this tractor. However, given the chance again, I would definitely bought a JD instead. "
"In fact it works very fine, HST is a real dream to work with. The platform is mounted with rubber so no vibration, many features on that tractor that are standard, will increase the engine r.p.m. automatically, adjustable 3 pt. link, cruise control, tilt steering, when you sit on it, everything is at your hand and feet, brake at left side is practical in snow. Just love it."
"We had to move some huge cement blocks and we thought we would have to use a bigger machine, but luckily the Massey Ferguson was there. It pushed all three of them like a joke (not all at ounce). We made a homemade attachment called a "subsoiler" and we hit something stiff in the ground while it was just above idle and it bent it back like it was butter. "
"I just received this tractor. Fit and Finish is great. Power was better that good. Dealer service above all others. Swineford Trailer Co. Morrisson Oklahoma. I purchased my first tractor - a new 2006 Massey-Ferguson. model 1528. They did what they said they would. Wayland and Kevin great guy's. I will update this as I put hours on the new 1643."
"So far I love this Tractor, Looked and tested all brands. Nothing could match how the machine felt and drove. Pulls a 6ft bush hog and box blade with not problem. Wish I had bought it sooner. "
"So far very impressed, plenty of power, cab is spacious and comfy, plenty of glass for view of working area. Hydro trans works without any problems, DL120 loader could use a little more lifting power.Have loaded rears and 4x4, traction is no problem. Wife loves to plow snow with cab and heat. I like a/c in sun and no breathing in dust. 3pt hitch is easy to hookup with movable ends. Would recommend this to anybody. Purchased from Northwood Power Equipment in Northwood NH. Gary was my salesman and was great to deal with."
