"This is a good, rugged, but basic tractor. Not many modern features like newer ones have but who needs those, right? Has everything you need to get by. They are very reliable, hasn't let me down yet. Starts great in cold. Perkins A4.236 Diesels are rugged engines. Can go for 10,000 to 12,000 hrs. with just regular maintenance before being overhauled."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Dependable. Gets the job done every time. Cons: Loud engine, fuel injection pump prone to leaks. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: CND OT I also considered buying:

"Well it was running but nothing else seemed to work. bought it off a local farmer and started fixing stuff. After a while it got going, in a straight line this time, and since then its been fix-it-when-it-breaks. Bodywork was ugly, it had been rolled into a ditch (no-one died), every u-joint, pinion or connecting parts were worn to heck. The engine is a small Perkins A4-236 , two Pto's, one runs an auxiliary pump to the loader and the other is 62hp, i think. A second pump on the engine runs the 3 pnt and auxiliaries and a third runs the power steering. It routinely bales 6X6 rounds, mows anything (9'), lots of gears to choose from. The 4X4 is great, large front wheels makes clambering over stuff easy and climbs great. The basic Landini 4X4 was configured to a crawler tractor too. A really cool design package that could be resurrected as a new tractor anytime. Just needs a boom'n stereo and some extra lights. I think I will just keep fixing and using it. "
