"This is my first tractor so I have nothing to compare it with. Information on this model is a bit hard to come by and the factory manual is sadly lacking on things like which oil to use where and maintenance information. This is an old tractor, made in app. 1986, it has stood the test of time. Mine is pretty worn out. It has a Perkins three cylinder. Today I'm wondering if one cylinder has to fire a bit harder at idle than the other two which might explain the rhythmic clang I hear. I'm waiting for an adapter to come in the mail so I can take a compression test. After that I will likely know more about my tractor."
