Massey Ferguson 3525 Posted by Terry Moore on 02/24/2019

I needed a tractor to work safely on hilly terrain pulling heavy loads of hay that was also powerful enough to bale effortlessly.

It has cheap reliable power from the Perkins turbo charged engine and heavy construction regarding the frame and components, along with relatively simple mechanical aspects, with the 3-point hitch control being the only electronics. The cab is good, as is the visibility from the drivers seat.

I would have preferred more gauges rather than the fault lights on the dash. It has a reluctant starter when frosty, there was a low compression ratio used when turbos were installed late 70s to 80s.
