"It's a small tractor, but it's a real work horse. It's gas powered and still has great parts availability and they are reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone who has a small truck farm or hobby farm or just needs a small versatile little tractor."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Light and cheep to run. Cons: It only comes in two wheel drive. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA NV I also considered buying:

"This tractor has never failed to fire right up for me. I use this as my around the house small tractor. I have owned a number of 8n's and equivalent sized tractors and they are of no comparison. I used this tractor for a little of everything, including raking hay and even sometimes running the square baler. It is easy to maneuver and operate. It's also very easy to work on and parts are easily obtainable. I have been very pleased with this tractor. The two stage clutch is excellent and my only complaint is there's no power steering, but on a tractor this size it is no big deal."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Two stage clutch, easy to operate and maintain. Cons: No power steering. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA VA I also considered buying: John Deere 420, Ford 8N

"The Ferguson TO-35 is an excellent tractor, and is about the same size as the Ford 9N, 8N, and 2N. The TO-35 has the desirable dual range transmission, giving it 6 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds, making the tractor much more versatile than the small Fords and many other tractors of the same class. The Continental overhead valve engine is reliable, and has plenty of power. I have a Wagner front loader attached, and a variety of other accessories for the 3 point hitch. The tractor is rugged and reliable. New tuneup parts and service parts are not easily available, however, and the ones that are available are poor quality Chinese parts that are sometimes defective right out of the box. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Six speed transmission , strong and reliable drivetrain Cons: Good quality new tuneup parts are scarce Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA DE I also considered buying:
