"I picked up this HST3940 used. It was evident that the previous owner wasn't in the business of caring for his equipment. It had not been stored indoors, and it appeared that whenever they could not figure out how it worked they jury-rigged it. The first couple of weeks, I spent a lot of time undoing some of the work-rounds (all of the safeties had been over-ridden). Since I have restored many of them, I am truly impressed with how rugged it is. I highly recommend this machine."

"For a small farm you can not beat this little tractor, with the bucket & box blade I can get all my work done. At times when I go to start it I will get no contact, nothing. Dealer says its the seat safety switch, after replacing it it still does the same thing. any though, I like the tractor very much, but for this problem."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Great size, great HP, all the extras you'll ever need. Cons: Has starter problems, dealer can not find, thinks it in seat safety switch, I feel it starter or starter relay. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA MO I also considered buying:
