"I bought this used at an equipment auction to assist in building my home and planned to resell it after completion. Please note in the picture it is an Owontonna (previous Mustang brand).
This skid steer performed an amazing number of chores from grading the driveway to use as a raised platform for building. I hauled cinder blocks, stone, roof materials, large windows, heavy appliances, and found it to remove snow in the winter much more efficiently than my Jeep with a conventional plow. It also performed many landscape chores and I used it to dig up and replant a bunch of 8-10 foot white pine trees from a 1/4 mile away.
Now that it's over 35 years old, it leaks some hydraulic fluid from some inaccessible location under the seat, probably seals on the hydro-stat motors, but it still does work.
My only beef is that finding a parts supplier is next to impossible. I have to scrounge 'similar' parts from Deere or Bobcat dealers. I will be moving to Florida next year and will have to part with it and really hope that 'fishing' can replace all the fun I've had with it over the years."
