"Seems like when it gets warm it blows fuse operators manual says it's operator safety system, fuel solenoid. Can't find bad wire or any shorts wonder if it a bad solenoid."
"We use our TC45DA as our main tractor on a commercial vegetable farm. We operate it for about 300 hours per year for hauling, loader work, tillage, mowing, spreading compost, etc. In general we are very pleased. After seven seasons of use the only issues have been: 1. Cracked radiator (probably my fault for not changing coolant often enough). 2. Worn PTO brake which needed replacement. Possibly my fault for stopping PTO at high engine RPMs. You should engage and disengage PTO at low engine RPM. 3. Broken ratchet pawl on parking brake. Poor design which can be dangerous (see other threads on this). 4. A fuse which needed replacement. 5. Bad seal on one FEL cylinder. 6. The cruise control is unreliable which is annoying. Also we have a number of problems with grit (rust?) plugging the screen at the exit from the fuel tank. In general I would recommend it."
"After almost 2500 hours, the first 1000 mostly very heavy work, I am absolutely satisfied with the performance of the tractor, especially its ability to get through wet spots. The dealership is also excellent. I have them service it on farm every 250hrs. Some niggles on the quality of materials. Both lift arms broke at the shackles within the first year and both stabilizer shackles broke later. The dip headlights stopped working after about two years and one of the lights lost the chrome reflecting coat. The clutch pedal springs have twice broken (and I do not ride the clutch). The hand break cable broke after about two years. Some of the dashboard lights are not functioning correctly. The machine is always shredded and only used when the weather is dry---no cab."
"Great tractor, not perfect as I have had the same issues documented on the forum. But overall it was a good value and I would buy another."
"Great little tractor, love the front wheel assist and the hydrostatic transmission, the front end loader might be a little weak when compared to the Case Skid Loader I owned prior to the tractor. The fuel tank is hard to get completely full due to the design."
"After an exhaustive search, settled on New Holland TC45d Very smooth and powerful engine. Build quality seems quite nice. Have had repeated small issues. But I believe them to primarily be related to previous ownership. The tractor is very sturdy and should be a great asset. "
"My TC45a has done everything I've asked and runs like new after 5 years. Easy to maintain and has the energy to do a lot of chores."
"In 5 years I have a little over 1,300 hours on the tractor. tractor was purchased with a, back hoe, post hole digger & Hydralic Gannon. I have built 2 different drags, 1 good fork lift that attaches on the loader bucket mounts, a quickie fork that bolts to the bucket, a pusher bar for unloading my flat bed truck, trenching fork that bolts to the back hoe bucket and a log splitter. Very few problems and all were minor. Seat switch went out after 4 years. Minor hose leaks on the backhoe quickly replaced by dealer."
"I use this tractor mostly for snow removal and tilling. I like the four wheel drive and power steering. This was a priority when I started looking for another tractor. Overall, I am pleased with it's performance and quality."
"Purchased for snow removal with reversible snow plow and 80 inches snow blower. I operate airplane hangars for my retirement. Unit has a roomy cab with A.C. heating, CD Radio etc. Unfortunately (fortunately for other people) this winter was a very very unusual winter with almost no snow showers..., 19 hours on the meter and winter is over.... So far So good...."
